PABLO MOLGORA

When I am asked to explain a painting, better than any explanation is the experience of feeling what a work of art can reveal to-a soul open enough to understand it. I am a painter that begins to search for my subjects within universal emotions either my own or outside my reach, using the power of symbols and color to convey a message to the viewer. As noted by the poet Ivanov Vyacheslav " A symbol is only a true symbol when it is inexhaustible and unlimited in its meaning, when it utters in its arcane language of hint and intimation, something that cannot be set forth, that does not correspond to words, it has many faces and many thoughts, and in its remotest depths it remains inscrutable... It is forced by an organic process, like a crystal...symbols cannot be stated or explained, and, confronted by their secret meaning in its totality, we are powerless... " I consider myself to be a painter of the senses, through emotions I am able to communicate using the beauty of color and the power of form. I strive to convey a hidden message to be interpreted by the observer, using his/her own emotions, feelings and experiences as tools. Thus the piece is understood and the cycle that I initiated as an artist is complete. For me my paintings are a way of communication and in order to be effective they have to have a dialogue with the observer. The ability to think in a particular language creates the possibility of effective communication. I would like to provide a mirror or window through which you may view the symbolic contents of your consciousness. By exploring them, you are able to delve into layers of consciousness, integrating experiences, calling forth memories from the deepest part of your mind; and as Aristotle noted "The soul thinks in images."

My work is realistic, uses symbolic imagery, and abstract elements, parades of color that are an invitation into a deep emotional and mystical journey My work goes much deeper than just a decorative state and since emotions are put on a canvas they are alive and change according to the light of our  senses.

Symbols are drawn from real life and have taken on an abstract meaning through a shared understanding. Every painting is a key that unlocks a deeper understanding. Color and form have meanings of their own (even without conventional and known forms).
