Pablo Molgora

En Espanol

Born and raised in Peru to Italian parents, Molgora's work resonates with both metaphysical European influences and, the magic realism of South america's artistic traditions. He has lived and worked in New York City.

Molgora's work is notable for its passionate coloration. He combines abstract elements with realistic symbolic imagery, and uses them in combination with color and texture to produce an art that aims to touch the very spirit of that which he portrays.

“Dreams, hopes and fears lie dormant, waiting to be awakened in the threshold of my soul.  When my heart is touch with emotion, I am able to communicate my feelings using the beauty of color and the power of form.  I strive to convey a hidden message to be interpreted by the observer, using his/her own emotions, feelings and experiences as tools, thus the piece is understood and the cycle that I initiated as an artist is complete.

Molgora’s original works of art are in various important collections around the world.  He have participated in many solo shows including: Juliani Gallery (Boston), Harvard University-Divinity School (Andover), Scully on Spring (Soho/NYC), Ives Burrups (Chelsea/NYC), and group shows like New World Gallery (Soho/NYC), The Spanish Institute (NYC),  Bienal Iberoamericana (NYC), Bienal Religiosa de Arte Latino Americano Contemporaneo (NYC), and Galeria Venezuela (NYC) among others.
